This page is specifically for you with information about the venue, our cancellation policy, who is accepted as a vendor (and who is not), registration and fees, and important details of what to expect and what to do on the day of the event.

VENUE

Barktoberfest is held in Macungie, Pa., in their large beautiful dog-friendly city park. On the same day as our event, a large gemstone sale is held in and around the building next to our event area. Both our events benefit from bringing in a different public, and there is ample parking for everyone. In the basement of the building, there is a food stand and clean public bathrooms.

EVENT CANCELLATION

Barktoberfest is held RAIN OR SHINE. Only under severely bad weather conditions would we consider cancelling. If it is determined that the weather conditions are too bad to hold the event, the Event Coodinator and members of Paws For Fun will personally call each registered vendor on Friday night, and it will be posted on our Facebook page.

VENDOR ACCEPTANCE 

paw If you have particpated in previous years (meaning your name is on the PARTICIPATING VENDORS page), or you have received an invitation to participate this year from the Event Coordinator, you are immediately accepted; no approval to participate is required prior to registering from the Event Coordinator. 

paw Approval IS REQUIRED prior to registering if you have not previously participated or have not received an invitation from the Event Coordinator. To obtain approval, please email the Event Coordinator, giving information about your business or group.

paw Absolutely no insurance, banking or real estate vendors will be accepted.

REGISTRATION & FEES 

paw All vendors must complete the BARKTOBERFEST REGISTRATION FORM to reserve a space.  Deadline for reserving a space is the Saturday before the event. For 2017, no vendors will be accepted after September 30.

paw A $10 non-refundable space fee ($11, if paid through PayPal) is required from all non-profit and for-profit vendors. On the registration form, check off how you will be paying - through PayPal or by check. Unless other arrangements have been made with the Event Coordinator, payment is required prior to the event date.

EVENT DAY INFORMATION 

About a week before the event date, you will receive an email reminding you of the event and any last minute information. Below are details and suggestions related to preparing for the event and what to do on the day of the event. If you still have questions, though, please email the Event Coordinator.

paw WHAT TO BRING ... You need to bring everything! Your space fee gives you a 12ft wide x 12ft+ deep space. You need to provide your own table and chairs, and we highly advise you to bring a tent to cover your space. 

paw SPACE ASSIGNMENT ... When you arrive between 9:30AM & 10:30AM, you'll check in at the WALNUT STREET ENTRANCE to the park for directions to your space. If you need access to electricity, please make sure you check off that box on the application.

paw PARKING ... You may park your vehicles directly behind your space. Additional vehicles can park within very close proximity to the event area, on the grass or in the main parking lot.
